If you cannot come to campus, you can check out books from Lightner Library by using our online interlibrary loan system, ILLiad. You must register with ILLiad by creating a username and password.
Once you are registered with ILLiad, you can make requests for books and articles at your computer. You will also have the ability to track your requests online.
Books are mailed to you and you can keep them for 3 weeks. If you need them longer, you can always contact us and we'll renew the books. It is your responsibility to mail them back to the Library.
Lightner Library has an excellent collection of books that cover topics such as transitioning veterans, PTSD, military mental health care, the GI Bill, women veterans and much more. From off campus, these books can be checked out through ILLiad, our interlibrary loan system.
