Printing & Scanning at Keuka College: Welcome

This guide will take you through the basics of using Find Me and the copiers/scanners for on-campus printing and scanning.

Printing & Scanning at Keuka College

Printing & Scanning at Keuka College

Every building on campus (including residence halls) has printers available for your use. If you need to print in color, visit the Lightner Library, Dahlstrom, Jephson, or Hegeman.

Cost of Printing

Each semester, students are allocated $37.00 in print credits. Black & white prints are $0.06 per page, and color prints are $0.12 per page. This is enough for 400 black & white (grayscale) prints and 100 color prints.

You can add more funds to your printing account by visiting the Student Accounts window on the bottom floor of Ball Hall.

Assistance & More Info

If you need one-on-one assistance with printing, visit our IT Staff at the Information Technology Desk in the Lightner Library.

More information can be found on IT's Printing Page.

Printing at Lightner Library

Printing at Lightner Library

There are 3 printer/copiers in the Library. On the main floor, there is a black and white printer/copier near the front corner of the library. There is a color printer/copier in the Learning Commons near the water fountain. On the bottom floor, there is a color printer/copier near Computer Lab 001.

If the printers are out of paper, ask at the Circulation Desk for a refill. Paper sizes available are 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17. Please do not change the sliders on any of the trays, as this can cause the printer to stop functioning. When printing, leave tray settings to "Auto" as this can also cause a malfunction.

If you need larger format prints, you can request a print job at the PawPrints office. You will find more information on this service under the Professional Prints tab.

Other Supplies

If you are in need of dry erase markers for the walls in the Learning Commons, ask at the Information Technology desk.

Faxing

Faxing

Students can fax using the multifunction printer in the basement of Strong Hall. To do so, put a 9 for an outside line before the number, and a 1 if it is outside the 315 area code.

For example: 9-1-(987) 654-3210

However, if possible, it is usually easier simply to use the scan-to-email function on any printer/copier on campus.
