JSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources. Some of its content is now freely available on the Internet.  Click on the link below to search for articles.


ScienceDirect allows you to search for peer-reviewed journals, articles, book chapters as well as open access content.


There are a number of Ebsco databases that you should look at to locate articles for this project.

  • Academic Search Premier:  multidisciplinary database
  • GreenFile:  covers all aspects of human impact on the environment
  • MEDLINE:  National Library of Medicine database


ProQuest is another multidisciplinary database
