Lightner Discovery: Lightner Discovery Service

What is a Discovery Service?

Lightner Discovery is a single search box that searches nearly all the library's databases and resources, and Google Scholar--all at once.

This means that one search will yield results including physical books, ebooks, scholarly articles, popular articles, reports, reviews, and videos.

You can use the Lightner Discovery search box located on the the Lightner Library Home Page to search for books, ebooks, scholarly articles, news, magazines, and more!

Use the tabs above the search box to:

Search all types of sources, just enter keyword(s) and click the magnifying glass to begin.

Search only for popular and scholarly articles.

Search only for physical books at Lightner Library as well as ebooks, accessible from any device.

Link to Publication Finder which allows you to search and browse journals in Lightner Library's collection by subject or title.
